A popular herb of Ayurvedic Indian medicine, the active ingredient in Mucuna Pruriens produces dopamine, a key neurotransmitter in the control of sexual function.
In powdered form, Mucuna pruriens seeds have high concentrations of levodopa, an important precursor of the neurotransmitter dopamine. It’s other active ingredients (5-HTP, nicotine, N, N-DMT, bufotenine, and 5-MeO-DMT increase serotonin levels and have both aphrodisiac and psychedelic properties.
